In December 2020, against November, construction input prices increased by 0.4 per cent.

 

The greatest influence on the overall price change was made by an increase in prices of construction materials and products. The average gross hourly wages and salaries, as well as an hourly labour costs on operation of construction machines and mechanisms increased by 0.1 each. As regards construction materials and products, the largest increase in prices was observed for wastewater pipelines (1.6 per cent) and metal products (1.4per cent).

 

As for building and structures, the largest increase in prices over the month was observed for construction of non-residential buildings and civil engineering units (0.4 per cent each).

 

Over the year (December 2020, against December 2019), construction input prices increased by 0.4 per cent. This was determined by an increase in average gross hourly earnings (2.4 per cent), hourly labour costs on operation of construction machines and mechanisms (1.3 per cent), as well as by a decrease in prices of construction materials and products (0.7 per cent).

 

As for buildings and structures, the largest increase in prices over a year was observed for construction of residential buildings (0.9 per cent). Construction of non-residential buildings went up in price by 0.6 per cent, while prices for construction of civil engineering remained almost stable.
